What We Believe

About The Bible

About The Trinity

About Jesus Christ

About Salvation

What we believe is important.  It defines us, shapes our actions and our responses to life.  Here are a few of the core beliefs that we as a church hold to and define us a group.

We believe that the whole bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. Its original documents are without error and entirely trustworthy. It is the complete revelation of God’s will for salvation and the final authority for all Christian faith and life - physical, moral and spiritual.

The Godhead comprises the three Persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, but their Godhead is one. They share equal glory and eternal majesty. They are all uncreated, infinite, and eternal.

The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten. The Son is of the Father alone, not made or created, but begotten. The Holy Ghost is of the Father and the Son, neither made, created, nor begotten, but proceeding.

In this Trinity, none is before, or after another; none is greater, or less than another. But the three Persons are coeternal, and coequal. This God, One in Three and Three in One, is the one we worshipped.

The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary in His incarnation. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.  His sacrifice was substitutional and representative.  He was buried and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven, was exalted by the Father and now ministers as our High Priest and Advocate.

The Bible says that God loves you and is unwilling for anyone to perish eternally.

He made salvation possible through the death and resurrection of his beloved son, Jesus Christ, who is the only hope for your acceptance by God.

By faith believing in Jesus Christ, you are redeemed by his blood and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, becoming a child of God with eternal life.

The Holy Spirit dwells within you when you believe, saving you eternally and empowering you to live a godly life.

(1 Peter 3:16)

Great indeed is the mystery of godliness:

He was manifested in the flesh,

vindicated by the Spirit,

seen by angels,

proclaimed among the nations,

believed on in the world,

taken up in glory.
